Well, to start off the weekend my wife Kate and I went to eat dinner with her dad, brother, sister, and brother-in-law Friday night! We went to Cheddar’s in Smyrna which I absolutely recommend to anyone because it was amazing. We also road around Smyrna and looked at a couple of houses which was fun. Kate and I came back home and fell asleep because we had one the of the busiest days ever. We woke up early Saturday morning for Graduation. We both finally graduated, and it was the second best feeling in the world next to getting married to the greatest women ever. After graduation we went and ate lunch with my family and her family at Chili’s. After the awesome lunch with the fam, we came back to Kate and I’s house and showed the family the house, and we opened graduation presents (new golf clubs….sweet). Then, it was on to one of our friend’s weddings (great ceremony performed by Pat Hood)! Saturday night a group of us went out to eat at Fulin’s (sushi) for my birthday. The best man in my wedding came in from Chattanooga to go out with us, too.
A couple of weeks ago, Kate and I decided to invite the parents over for Mother’s Day so we could all be together. It turned out to be a great idea. Our families get along great, and I loved that we could all be together! We cooked for our mom’s so they didn’t have to do anything but eat the food which was awesome ( good job Kate, Kristi, and Sully)! Finally, it was time to rest for the weekend so Kate and I could get up for our interviews! I’m praying that God will show me and Kate where we need to be now that college is over! Kate is an amazing photographer ( check her out at www.katewhitmore.com) and I am so so proud of her for doing something that she loves!
